Home Again!

I flew home yesterday.  By the time I left the temperature had gotten up to around 32 degrees (above zero), which is warm for Fairbanks.  I had a great time in Alaska and a great time with the Sterners.  I hope that you enjoyed looking at my blog.

New Year's Eve

Here is what the Sterners' house looks like.
Here are the two youngest Sterner kids, Mack and Nora, outside the house.  Mack is burning paper trash.

Yesterday we went to a park filled with ice sculptures.  They call it Christmas in Ice.  There were actual sculptures and also ice slides that kids (and adults) could slide down.  There was an ice maze for the kids and an ice playground.  It was dark and they had the ice lit up with colored lights.  (Because it was dark, most of my pictures are not that good.)  Here I am sitting in an ice train. :)
